Your Road Yoga's mission is to invite people who are healing from trauma of all kinds to explore the present moment using a gentle and supportive approach. Many techniques are introduced in the sessions, for example: grounding through the body, and relaxation. I guide participants towards the ability to make choices for themselves, and in doing so build confidence along the road to recovery.

Yoga has been said to mean union; the union of a sense of self, body and mind. I believe that the greatest teacher of all is your own experience. As a certified Trauma Informed Yoga instructor, I can offer many suggestions of movement, stillness, and breathing techniques throughout the time we spend together practicing. Still, I believe it is you, listening and acquiring direct information from your own experience that will grant the most true and healing experience.
